ASNR certified as a technical support organisation by PAA, the nuclear safety authority of Poland

On 17 September 2026 in Vienna (Austria), PAA President Andrzej Głowacki presented ASNR President Pierre-Marie Abadie with the official document attesting that ASNR is now certified as a technical support organisation that may be called upon to carry out assessments related to the licensing of Poland’s first nuclear power plant.

This official meeting marked the conclusion of ASNR's certification process, which follows the certification previously held by IRSN prior to its merger with ASN on 1 January 2025.
